Review for Barbados

On my very few trips to Barbados I cant help but admire its very beautiful scenery and all the wonderful plants and animals it has to offer. From the clear beach waters to the fruit trees everything about the island is amazing. Barbados is the place to be whether its for vacation time or to live. Its always hot but not too humid because of the refreshing mountain breeze that passes by. There are countless animals, plants, and sites to see. In my opinion the best part of the island are the beaches. Unlike the beaches of New York you can actually look down and see your feet in the water. In addition to this you can see the small fish that swim in the water right at your feet, and if your lucky a turtle will crawl up to shore to lay some of its many eggs.

When commuting its the best because as small as the island is it still takes about only an hour to travel from one end of the island to the other. The mountainous views are even more amazing. Just by looking from on top the roof top or a mountain you can see the many houses and the shore line that surrounds you. The produce that the island produces is fresh sweet and delicious along with the food. The people are very loving and friendly and the cite seeing is eternal. I would stop by for a visit any time.

What Would You Do With $40,000?

Well I'm not sure what I would do if I found $40,000 thousand but at the same time I know many that certainly wouldn't return it. Josh and Tara Ferrin, of Salt Lake City, however are one of the many few that think differently. The Ferrin's purchased the house and were excited to have a place of their own.Josh Ferrin went to pick up the keys to the house and went to look at and inspect it. When he entered the garage he notice a white piece of cloth sticking out from an attic door. He opened the door and climbed in the attic where he found a box with the money twined together in tight bundles. Josh Ferrin called his wife and then took the money to his parents house to count it. When they had stopped counting they were at 40,000 dollars and assumed there was about 5,000 dollars more.
In this photo taken May 18, 2011, from left, ...

This is where many would began to disagree with the Ferrin's. After counting the money Josh decided to contact the previous owner of the house. The house was sold when the previous owner and his wife had both passed away and the house belonged to their children. When Josh got in contact with the family he let them know that he had found the money and they were just as shocked as he was. They knew their father who had put away the money for them was a saver but didn't know he had saved so much over the years.
Although the Ferrin's could have used the money for themselves they did return all of it. This is something most people wouldn't have the heart or courtesy to do. I must say if there were more people like the Ferrin's the world would be a much greater place.

Sammy's Fish box Review

sammys1

On my 16th Birthday I visited Sammy's Fish Box. Its a seafood restaurant in the Bronx that I would have to say has the best seafood and could possibly put Red Lobster out of business. Although very pricey they are worth every penny. On my visit to Sammy's, i had ordered everything that I wanted since it was my birthday. Since it was a seafood restaurant of course I ordered plenty of seafood.
For dinner I had a lobster, a cluster of crab, three types of shrimp, and a side of ribs with french fries. the lobster was great. Not too tough but tender enough for my liking. It was well seasoned and delicious just like everything else that came on my seafood platter. I would have to say the Ribs were the best. Smothered in barbecue sauce they were grilled to perfection without being too burnt. he fries were a bit dry but after tasting everything else you pretty much get past the slight dryness.
Overall Sammy's is a great place with great food and great service. The staff is very attentive to their guests and the decor is just as great. If I was asked to recommend this restaurant my response would be "Any Time!"

Obama's Take on Bullying

Bullying has been a problem in history for as long as anyone can remember. Although many won’t admit to it or even realize when they are being bullied it talks place everywhere.  From school hallways to adults at their workplace bullying has always been a problem. Even though it has been a problem for so long no one has taken control of the situation. In today’s society Obama attempts to take a stand to bullying seeing that he too once was a victim. In his attempt to end bullying he  tries to focus on gays, bisexuals, trans-genders, and lesbians who are targetted for their differences in choices or their way in living their life.

Friends!What Makes one?

I've been wanting to write a blog dedicated to my friends because they are part of the reason I even have things to write about some times. Im not going to talk about them directly because thats not the purpose of this blog. Im writing because I notice that many people claim they have a best friend and its usually more than one. Don't get me wrong theres nothing wrong with having more than one best friend but what makes a best friend?
In my own opinion best friends are someone you can always count on. With my friends I swear I can tell them anything without being judged or worrying about someone else finding out. I consider each and everyone of them my diary's and although I have more than one I make room for all and I know I can count on them at my most desperate times of need. While some base friendship off how long they known someone I wouldn't consider it much of a friendship. Anyone can know someone for a lifetime and not know anything about them. It takes a true friend to take the time to learn who you are, accept it, and still love you for who you are despite your many flaws. On that note I must say I love my friends...So next time you call someone your BEST FRIEND, think about not only how long or how much they have been there for you, but if they truly live up to the definition or expectations of a true friend.

Nuclear Power Plants In Japan

In Japan at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant are 6 reactors. These reactors are over heated and smoke was rising from them. It is said that the reactors have high levels of radiation and areas around out had to be evacuated. They are trying to restore power to the reactors but to fix damage and get pumps and parts is very difficult for workers at the nuclear plant. Besides the power there is an even bigger problem.
The iodine levels of the tap water that is received through these reactors are measured in buckrams per liter. The amount of iodine that should be consumed by children is about 100 but the tap water contains more than twice that amount with 210 buckrams of iodine per liter. such high levels of radiation they advise no one especially children to drink the water. Government officials said especially babies who drink formula should refrain from drinking the contaminated water. Although it may not cause an immediate health problem it will over time and still should not be consumed unless necessary.

He was treated with blood transfusions because his organs were not big enough to pump blood to such a large body and an emergency surgery was issued but Robert still didn't make it and died in bis sleep.
When Robert Wadlow died on July 4, 1940 at age 22 doctors said that he still showed no sign that there was going to be an end to his growth. His coffin measured 10 ft 9 in. long, 32 in. wide, and 30 in. deep.
